The British Decorators` Association seeks to uphold, promote and enhance the status and professional standards of its members and the Painting and Decorating Industry by :-

1. Requiring members` compliance with its Code of Practice and a high level of
   craft competence and business integrity
2. Providing advice on employment, legal and technical matters, and actively promoting health & safety and training
3. Developing and providing a range of advantageous services
4. Promoting members` interests by the practical association and co-operation with allied professional organisations
5. Employing competent, motivated staff in an environment conducive to their well-being and the encouragement of their efforts to secure the ongoing interests of the Association and its members
